ARTICLES MADE OF TUNGSTEN, RHENIUM AND THEIR ALLOYS

Crucibles, components of process equipment, e.g., thermocouple casing, mixers, etc., made of a high-density (99,3...99,9 %) metal cf high purity (<10^-3 wt.% impurities) show a high resistance at very high temperatures in aggressive  media, e.g., melts of alkali, alkali-earth metals, etc., and their compounds.

The proposed crucibles are advantageously used to grow single crystals of  semiconductors (A₃B₅, etc.), oxides (ruby, leucosapphires), to melt metals and to carry out other high-temperature technological processes.

Excellent performance characteristics and a long service life of crucibles will make feasible radically new design and technological advances.

We take orders:

· to produce W and W-Re crucibles, and also composite crucibles (e.g., graphite - or Mo-crucibles with W, Re, W-Re, Ta coating of different thicknesses).

The crucible dimentions can be:

diameter                 up to  120 mm

height                      up to  240 mm

wall thickness          up to   10 mm

• to apply coating from other high-temperature materials, including oxides, carbides, nitrides,  etc,;

• to produce components of process equipment (thermocouple casing, mixers, etc.);

• to produce shaped articles from W and Re.
